Open a new image in RGB mode. |

Use the Rectangular Marquee tool and make a
selection of the area where you wish to place your type.

Press Alt + Backspace to fill the selected area with
white. Lower the opacity to 50%.

Add/Copy + Paste your text into the
selected area.

From the layers pallet, add a drop shadow at 85 % opacity and spread of 7 to
